Cards from the Hoard

Today I wanted to use up more of my extra bits and pieces I have hoarded over time so I decided to use 3 pre-made cards from a kit and make some quick and simple cards.

This card features and envelope from a Paper Pumpkin kit that I knew I'd never make or use for it's intended purpose.

This card was mostly an excuse for me to see how long my orange glitter glue that my Aunt sent me took to dry.  Turns out longer than I thought...I had to redo a couple of the swipes.

This card was an excuse to get rid of the strawberry paper.  I like the way it looks but I have little to no use for fruit paper otherwise.  That being said, if anyone finds some steak or nachos paper, feel free to send it my way!

It Feels Good to be Back

It's been months since I've been able to do any scrapbooking or card making and the withdrawal was killing me.  My house was under renovation and all of my stuff was in boxes in the basement behind the couch--so close, yet so far.  Today was the first day that my stuff was unpacked enough for me to do something and took advantage!  I made this lovely page with scraps I had from various other scrapping projects.  I really love it and am really glad I can start getting back into the swing of things.  The colors in the photos I took of the pages are a little off but that's what happens when the weather has been as moody as it has been...
