It's been awhile since I updated this blog.  I've been busy writing papers, researching, and as of recently drawing cartoons for EIU's newspaper.

I decided to do an 8 1/2" x 11" page inspired by another book cover.  One of my favorite books is Light In August by William Faulkner so I took the cover of it and used it as inspiration for my page.  It's hard to see, but the picture is a really pretty, old tree, with green vines wrapped around it.  Yellow and blue are also strong on the page.

    Hey Kaycie, your Aunt pointed me in the direction of your scrapping blog and I just had to stop and say "Light In August" is one of my favourite books too,

    Keep on scrapping! Wish I had a record of my college years
