I decided to start posting some more of my super quick make and go cards that take 15 minutes or less to assemble. This card used a lot of old Stampin' Up stuff but I the design is easily replicated and it only took a few minutes to throw together.

Good Dog
I enjoyed doing the challenge from yesterday so much that I figured I may as well do another today. Today's challenge came from the Scrap Our Stash blog. The challenge was to create a page based off of this image:
I really like the pinkish color and the way that the dark stood out on it. I also really have a thing for hearts and I love using them. I created the below pages with pictures taken with my old dog. It was a fun page to make, especially because I've always enjoyed the pink and black color scheme.

Girl's Not Grey
It's been quite some time since I've tried a stamping or scrapbooking challenge so I took a swing at this month's 123 Challenge. The challenge was to use the color grey, the word great, and the grunge style. Once again, taking the picture of the page was proving to be one of the biggest challenge of the whole ordeal, but these will do. I scrapped a photo I found of my cousin from years ago and thought it would work well with the challenge. I also wanted to get it out of where it was being stored because the photo itself was getting slightly damaged.
I used a grey paper and distressed it and stamped on it to try and grunge it up. I used ink to distress the other elements as well and make the the numbers for the year because for some reason gray is about the ONLY color I DON'T have. I really like the way it looks!

Fast and Cute
I continued my quest to use up some of my random pieces. I used a couple of scrap papers I had then plopped a Project Life piece, a funky embellishment and some rhinestones down to make this quick birthday card. I don't really care as much for the project life albums but some of the parts you can buy for them really do suit me. Now I just have to remember to actually send the birthday cards...

You Can and You Will...Use Up That Stash
I really really really need to start using some of the random bits I have laying around. I noticed when I was digging for pieces I remembered having that I was finding a lot of loose ones that I didn't remember having. A lot of my friends from college graduated last week so I decided to make them some congrats cards to send off since I didn't get to see them around the big day. I made this one for one of my friends. Unfortunately the picture quality isn't that great since it was too dark to take any pictures with natural light but alas that's what happens when you do a lot of late-night crafting. Also I'm just now noticing how much the triangle piece looks like the tile in my bathroom...interesting.

June 19th is Coming Quicker Than You Think
I know we're a good couple months away from Father's Day but I was going through some of the Creative Memories diecuts my mom gave me awhile back and was hit with some inspiration so I had to run with it. Besides, I'm pretty sure my dad isn't even aware that I have this blog. Making cards for guys is pretty tough for me, especially since most of the papers I've inherited have flowers on them, but this one was quick and enjoyable.

Green & Red Isn't Just For Christmas
I got around to some more scrapping! This is an old photo I found of a dog that I used to get to visit every now and then when I was little. I was excited to be able to use some vintage buttons I picked up super cheap at an antiques shop. I also enjoyed getting to use green and red in a way that didn't just scream Christmas! I still haven't found a good spot to take photos of my pages that show the true colors of the papers but I will keep hunting.
